Wiley was adopted at Doo-Dah Day, 1998, in Birmingham, Alabama. She had been at the Humane society for 35 days and her time was running out! The same qualities that were immediately apparent on first meeting her are what make her a great Divine Canine. She is simply a people lover. Nothing will stop her from greeting a new person and spending time with them. As she is now at least 11 years old, she is one of the quieter canines and likes to visit at the Austin State Hospital, where she roams the activities room looking for new faces to greet. We are also awaiting approval to visit at the Austin State School, however, Wiley is on a short medical leave to deal with a newly diagnosed adrenal gland tumor. Hopefully she will pull through this and have something else in common with the people she loves to visit!
