Texas Twister is an Australian Shepherd born in Illinois in 2003. His father was a cow dog and his mother helped with the horses. Despite Texas farm roots, he knew he was destined for greater things.When he met his human-mom he knew they would never part. She let him try all sorts of wonderful things like herding and agility to see what he would like best. Nothing seemed to fit. He was so eager to please his mom. He performed beautifully in his training classes. He wanted to be the best for her.
Then one day his mom noticed a bump on his leg. They went to the veterinarian. They found out that one of the bones in Texas' leg had stopped growing. "Oh no", he thought, "now I will never find my destiny". But all was not lost. His mom took him to a very special hospital where he had surgery to fix his leg. His mom had to give him even more love and help him heal. Texas would be just fine.
One day she asked him if he wanted to become a Divine Canine and bring love to other people. He said, "Yes! That is what I will do!" Texas is so happy to bring healing to people. He found his destiny...to be petted by everyone!
