Handler: Christine Springer Hanna was a racer in Colorado but was rescued by the Texas Greyhound Adoption Program in San Antonio when she was 2 years old. She was retired earlier than most other greyhounds as she was not a great racer. In fact, her racing name was "No Expectations". But Hanna had all the makings of a great household companion. She was very shy when first adopted, however, after attending a few training classes, including beginning agility with Lee Mannix, she began asserting herself in a variety of ways (including getting on the furniture) and earned the nickname "Princess".Hanna is a picky eater but will do every trick she knows for a piece of cheese or a taste of chocolate ice cream. Her other passions include going for walks, playing with her stuffed hedgehog and hanging out with her best friend Bella (also a divine canine). During the week, she can be found offering comfort and compassion to the clients of Sports Center Physical Therapy. On the weekends she enjoys playing at the field and sleeping on her giant beanbag shaped bed. |
