Emma is a Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued from Town Lake Animal Shelter when she was 7 months old. Now this pound puppy waits patiently each Saturday for her time to go to volunteer with Divine Canines and jumps into the car with enthusiasm when it’s time to leave. Emma’s owner’s commitment to the Divine Canines pack springs from her family’s visit from a therapy dog. Several years ago when a relative was hospitalized a group of therapy dogs dropped by for a visit and the entire family learned first hand how much good therapy dogs do in stressful situations. Now Lisa and Emma get to pay it forward!
