Handler: Donna Jackson Cora is a sweet and fun-loving Basenji-mix that we rescued when she was a year old. She was so sick at the time she was adopted that she spent 10 days at the vet hospital and several months for recuperation. Fast forward 3 years and we have a healthy and happy dog that loves bringing joy to all she encounters. From our aging population at the Summit to the youngsters in Special Ed classes at Gullett Elementary, she has turned ordinary days into laughter-filled ones with her "bag of tricks". Cora loves to entertain her audience with her "musical talents" playing the tambourine and keyboard. For an encore she'll give a "salute", high-five and roll over for a belly rub. Sharing her spirit has brought many heartwarming and gratifying moments especially for her proud "Mom". |
